The Eq2 Apartments Description:

This luxurious five star development of 36 unique apartments provides a whole new concept of living. This urban oasis of 36 fresh & spacious 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, located in the heart of Edinburgh's West End.

These are truly lovely city centre apartments; choose from 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms or a number of huge duplex apartments. Inside, you will find Italian designer furniture, contemporary fabrics and fully controllable central heating. Naturally, there is wireless broadband and a rather impressive entertainment system that includes an lcd cable television, superior cd player and TVs in the master and second bedrooms. The open plan living area includes a generous dining area and a kitchen equipped with the latest appliances; all master bedrooms have an en suite shower room with hi-fi speaker. Both bathrooms have a superb multi-position Grohe shower. Secure underground parking is available at a small charge of 5.00 per day.

Rooms:
Each of our apartments has a fusion of modern furniture and design classics, a bright open plan modular lounge with 32 inch lcd digital TV (including news, sports & movie channels), a great Hi-Fi. For those relaxed evenings in, or when you need to entertain the children, board games and even a PlayStation are available via the concierge along with a selection of CDs and DVDs. Our kitchens are finished to a high specification with Smeg integrated fridge and a washer/dryer, and after an exhausting day sightseeing and exploring the many Edinburgh attractions, relax and unwind in our bathrooms (each apartment has at least 2), and pamper yourself with all the exquisite bathroom accessories. Our housekeepers will refresh the apartment daily and continental breakfast is provided in the apartment on arrival and replenished daily.

Transportation:
From Edinburgh Airport/A8 - Take the a8 from Edinburgh Airport through Corstorphine to Haymarket Terrace, stay in the middle lane and follow signs for a8 into Edinburgh City Centre. Carry on to Shandwick Place and follow signs for a702. You will see Fraser's Department store ahead on your left and the Rutland Hotel on your right; at this point make sure you take the right hand lane to turn right onto Lothian Road. Once on Lothian Road, get into the left hand lane, continue straight ahead and follow signs for a702 (you will pass the Sheraton Hotel on your right). At the very top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street, there is a large junction, with three forks (the Bank of Scotland is on your left), take the right hand lane into Home Street. When on Home Street, get into the right hand lane, and turn right onto Gilmore Place, the Kings Theatre will be on your left and Celeste Beauty Spa on the right. Drive for some 100 metres, you will see Gilmore Place church on the left, immediately opposite this is the right turning onto Lower Gilmore Place, from here please follow signs for the eq-2 apartments. Edinburgh Airport City Centre bus service to Edinburgh every 10 minutes between 7am & 9:40pm Monday to Friday and 10:10am & 5:30pm at weekends - Single cost: 3.30, Open return: 5.00. Road - South from A702. Follow A702 through Morningside and onto Bruntsfield Place that in turn leads onto Leven Street and Home Street. At the crossroads where Leven Street joins Home Street, turn left into Gilmore Place, the Kings Theatre will be on your right and Celeste Beauty Spa on the left. Drive for some 100 metres, you will see Gilmore Place church on the left, immediately opposite this is the right turning onto Lower Gilmore Place, from here please follow signs for the EQ-2 apartments.

From 1st March 2008 parking shall cost £6 per day.
